Well, I’ve always been a big fan of Leonardo da Vinci, that super genius from the Renaissance. One day, I just got this wild idea: I gotta find out where I can see his works today. So, I started my journey.
First off, I fired up my computer and started doing some good – old – fashioned online research. I typed in all sorts of keywords like “Leonardo da Vinci works locations” and scrolled through pages and pages of search results. I found out that a lot of his famous paintings are kept in top – notch museums.
I made a list of these museums. The Louvre in Paris was at the top of my list. Everyone knows the Mona Lisa is there, right? So, I booked my flight to Paris. When I landed, I took a taxi straight to the Louvre. I was so excited, I could barely sit still in the cab.
Once I got to the Louvre, I joined the long queue. It was like a sea of people all waiting to get in. After what felt like ages, I finally got inside. I followed the signs to the section where the Mona Lisa was displayed. There were so many people crowded around it, trying to get a good look. I elbowed my way through (kind of rudely, I admit) and finally saw the Mona Lisa up close. Her smile was just as mysterious as I’d always heard.

But Leonardo was not just a painter. He was also an engineer and architect. So, I knew there were other places I needed to visit. I headed to Milan, Italy. I went to the Sforza Castle. Leonardo had worked there as an engineer and architect. I walked around the castle, looking at the structures he might have had a hand in designing. It was like stepping back in time.
I also visited the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. This is where Leonardo’s “The Last Supper” is located. I had to book a ticket in advance because they limit the number of people who can see it at once. When I went in, I was in awe of the huge mural. The details were amazing, and you could really feel the emotion in the painting.
After all these visits, I realized that seeing Leonardo’s works in person is a whole different experience than just looking at pictures online. It’s like you can feel the energy and creativity that he put into each piece. And it makes you appreciate his genius even more. If you’re a fan of Leonardo da Vinci like me, I highly recommend you go on this kind of journey and see his works for yourself. You won’t regret it!
