The Adventures of Little Red Riding Hood: The Big Bad Wolf Trap in the Forest

Once upon a time, in a quiet little village, there lived a clever and lovely little girl. Her favorite hat was a little red one, a gift knitted for her by her grandmother. From then on, everyone called her “Little Red Riding Hood”.

One day, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother said to her, “Your grandmother is sick, let’s go to see her and bring her some gifts.” Before she left the house, her mother gave her special instructions, “Don’t run away on the way, and follow me obediently.” Little Red Riding Hood nodded her head, but her mind had already flown to the forest.

Sure enough, just into the forest, Little Red Riding Hood was attracted by the colorful wildflowers, she forgot her mother’s instructions, headlong into the bushes to pick flowers, but also chased the butterflies to run all over the forest. Her mother, who was on her way to the store to buy a present, got separated from Little Red Riding Hood in a flash.

The Adventures of Little Red Riding Hood

When Little Red Riding Hood realized that her mother had disappeared, she panicked, and tears immediately poured down. At this time, a big gray wolf is quietly behind the tree to observe all this. It had been hungry for days, and the lovely little girl in front of her was like a delicious meal that fell from the sky.

The big bad wolf put on a kind face and approached her slowly: “Little girl, what’s wrong with you? Why are you crying alone?”

Little Red Riding Hood raised her head, wiped her tears, and said, “My mom and I were going to visit my grandmother, but I got lost and don’t know where she went.”

“Oh, then do you know where your grandmother lives?” Big Bad Wolf asked gently.

“Of course I know! She lives in a little cabin next to the big elm tree at the other end of the forest.”

Hearing this, the Big Bad Wolf was delighted: this was a double meal! Pretending to be a good samaritan, it said, “Don’t be afraid, I know the way, let me take you to Grandma.”

Little Red Riding Hood nodded innocently, and so followed the Big Bad Wolf, all the way to the door of her grandmother’s cottage.

She knocked on the door and shouted, “Granny, it’s me, Little Red Riding Hood has come to see you!”

As soon as Granny heard Little Red Riding Hood’s voice, she opened the door at once. She was happy to see her granddaughter, but out of the corner of her eye she suddenly realized that the one following her in was a big bad wolf with bad eyes!

“You bad egg, don’t get out of here yet!” Grandma scolded angrily, “The police are looking for you!”

But Little Red Riding Hood looked puzzled, “Grandma, he’s a good man, he’s the one who brought me to you.”

Grandma exclaimed in a hurry, “Silly child, he’s the Big Bad Wolf! He has eaten many people, how could you believe him?”

The Big Bad Wolf smiled proudly, “What an old woman with so much experience, she saw through me right away. However, it’s too late now, neither of you two can escape.”

After saying that, it swooped up and swallowed Granny and Little Red Riding Hood in one bite. When it had eaten its fill, it burped contentedly, feeling that its stomach was just too full, and fell back on the bed and huffed and puffed.

Meanwhile, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother had called the police, and the police arrived at Grandma’s house, guided by the villagers. The policeman recognized the vicious wolf as soon as he entered: “That’s it! I’ve been chasing it for two whole days!”

They quietly approached the bedside and were about to make their move when the big gray wolf suddenly woke up. When it saw that it was the police, it panicked and jumped up from the bed, only to hit its head on the corner of the table and fall heavily to the ground. At that very moment, Little Red Riding Hood was popped out of its mouth.

Before the Big Bad Wolf could react, it tripped over the threshold again, and once again its mouth was loose, and Granny was spat out.

Knowing he was finished, the big bad wolf desperately ran out of the house, only to have his feet slip, and the whole wolf tumbled and rolled down the hill, eventually falling into the river and being washed away and drowned. This bad guy, finally got the punishment he deserved.

Little Red Riding Hood hugged her mother tightly, tears streaming down her face, “Mom, I will never run around again, never playful again!”

From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood became more understanding and knew the importance of listening to her mother. And people in the village said that this time, Little Red Riding Hood had really grown up.
