Quick bedtime stories: three bedtime short stories.

Tonight, I want to tell you three interesting short stories. There are animals and lessons in these stories, and I hope you’ll have fun listening to them and learn a few lessons as well.

First story: the scorpion’s big pincers.

In a meadow lived a scorpion that loved to show off.It had two especially large pincers and always walked with its teeth and claws open, as if it didn’t care about anyone. As it walked, it shouted, “Get out of the way!Get out of the way!Whoever gets in my way, I’ll use my big pincers to click and cut it off!”

One day, as it was walking, it suddenly saw a small blade of grass coming up out of the ground and blocking its way.The scorpion was very upset and said, “Who are you?How dare you stand in my way?”The grass gently shook its body as if to say, “I just want to grow here ah.”

The scorpion was so angry that it raised its pincers and cut the grass with a click.

At this time, the cricket saw this scene, couldn’t help but say, “You are too unreasonable, how can you just hurt others?”Unexpectedly, the scorpion heard it and got even more angry, rushed up and cut off the cricket’s tentacles as well.

Later, the old turtle slowly crawled over and said to the scorpion, “You’re not doing the right thing, we are all neighbors, we should respect each other.”But the scorpion didn’t listen to him at all. Instead, he said loudly, “You’re not convinced, are you? Then I’ll show you what I’m capable of!”

After that, it raised its pincers and wanted to cut the turtle. The turtle hurriedly shrunk its head into its shell, but still had a little eyebrow hair cut off.

The scorpion said proudly, “You coward, you can’t hide as fast as my pincers!”

The turtle stuck out his head and said with a smile, “I’ll make a bet that there’s one thing you definitely won’t be able to cut.”

Scorpion heard, unconvinced, asked, “What is so powerful? It can’t be that hard shell of yours, can it?”

The turtle shook his head and said, “It’s not something hard, it’s something that looks soft and supple.Let’s make a bet!If you win, I will never stick my head out again; if I win, you can only come out at night and are not allowed to run around during the day, how about it?”

Quick bedtime stories

The scorpion felt sure that he could win, so he agreed.

So the turtle took the scorpion to a small river, pointed to the water and said, “Come and try, can you cut this river?”

Without saying a word, the scorpion picked up its pincers and began to cut the water. It “clicked” hundreds of times, but the river was still flowing. He cut it a few thousand times, but it was still no use. Finally, it tried its best to cut 10,000 times, but the river still flowed, as if laughing at its stupidity.

The scorpion’s face turned red, feeling especially ashamed, so it had to sneak into the crack of the stone. After that, it never dared to come out in the daytime to show off.

This story tells us: don’t think you have some ability is very great, sometimes you think it is very strong, in fact, can’t deal with the really soft but tough things.

The second story: The Animal Plastic Surgery Hospital.

In the forest, a new hospital called “Animal Plastic Surgery Hospital” has recently opened. This hospital is run by Dr. Koala, who was invited from abroad, and specializes in helping animals to change their appearance and make themselves more beautiful.

The first one to come for surgery was Miss Turtle. She had always been laughed at for the ugly shell on her back, so she decided to get rid of it.The operation was a great success and Miss Turtle went home happy because she looked so much better when she was naked.

The second person to come was Ms. Rabbit. She was not happy with her short tail and wanted a long, beautiful tail.Dr. Koala gave her a big, long tail, and Miss Bunny was so pleased with it that she went back to her house with a big smile on her face.

The third was Miss Crow. She did not like her all black feathers and thought they were not fashionable enough, so she asked for white feathers.Dr. Koala did so, and Miss Crow looked in the mirror and loved herself.

But within a few days, problems arose.

Without her shell, Miss Turtle had no way to protect herself from the falcons and was eaten.

Although Ms. Rabbit had a nice long tail, it was particularly inconvenient to run, and she was caught by the Big Bad Wolf if she was not careful.

After Miss Crow changed her white feathers, the other crows couldn’t recognize her and chased her out of the flock as a freak.

All three animals regretted it so much that they should not have changed their original appearance just to look good.

This story tells us: everyone has his or her own characteristics, do not blindly pursue the appearance of change, the natural look is the most suitable for you.

The third story: The Little Crocodile’s Shoes.

By a small river, there lived a cute little crocodile. But it had a bad habit – it didn’t like to wash its feet.Every night before it went to bed, it never washed its feet and its shoes were dirty.

One day, mom bought it a new pair of shoes. The shoes were very beautiful and brightly colored, and the little crocodile liked them very much.He put on the new shoes and was very happy.

But when he woke up the next morning, the shoes were gone!

The crocodile asked the frog anxiously, “Have you seen my shoes?”The frog replied, “It seems to have gone to the grass.”

The little crocodile ran to the grass, but did not find the shoes, and then ran to ask the butterfly: “Butterfly sister, have you seen my shoes?”The butterfly said, “I think I saw the shoes go to the flowers.”

The little crocodile came to the flower bush, and sure enough, he found his two shoes talking.

One shoe said, “Our master is so unhygienic, he never washes his feet and makes us stink.”

The other shoe went on to say, “That’s right, we are all so dirty by him that we don’t want to wear on his feet any more.”

When the little crocodile heard these words, his face turned red.He came out embarrassed and said, “I’m sorry, I’ll wash my feet well and keep them clean from now on, so that you won’t be aggravated.”

From that day on, the little crocodile washed his feet carefully every day, and his shoes became cleaner and more beautiful.

This story tells us: one should be hygienic and take good care of oneself, and also respect the objects that accompany you, so that life will be more comfortable and happy.

Summarize.

Although these three stories are simple, they all hide deep truths:

  1. Don’t bully others just because you are powerful. True power is knowing respect and restraint.
  2. Don’t blindly pursue changes in appearance, what suits you is the best.
  3. Pay attention to personal hygiene and develop good living habits in order to grow up healthy and happy.

I hope you like these stories, and I hope you can hear these warm words before you go to bed and have a sweet and good dream.

Good night!
