Goldilocks and the Three Bears: a story of respect for others.

Kitten bedtime story

Today I’d like to tell a particularly interesting story called “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”.This is not a science fiction movie or a superhero story, but a short story that takes place in the forest.Although the plot is simple, there is a lot of food for thought hidden in it.

The story begins!

In a quiet forest, there is a cute little cabin.In this house lived a family of three – Papa Bear, Mama Bear and their child Baby Bear.They lived happily every day, and everything in the house was well organized.

One morning, Mama Bear cooked a pot of hot oatmeal porridge.She divided the porridge into three bowls: a big bowl for Papa Bear, a medium-sized bowl for Mama Bear herself, and a small bowl for Baby Bear.But when everyone tasted the porridge, they realized it was too hot to eat.

Papa Bear said, “Ouch, it’s hot!”
Goldilocks and the Three Bears: a story of respect for others.Mama Bear also frowned and said, “Yes, it will take a while.”
Baby Bear suggested, “Then let’s go for a walk outside and come back to eat.”

So the three bears went out for a walk.

Just shortly after they left, a little girl came into the forest.Her hair was so golden that everyone called her “Blonde Girl”.As she walked and played, she came to the cabin without realizing it.

She knocked on the door, but no one answered. She looked in the window, but saw no one.She thought to herself, “There is no one in the house, so may I go in and see?”But she didn’t think much about it and just pushed the door open and walked in.

Be careful, don’t mess with other people’s things!

As soon as the blonde girl entered, she was attracted by the three bowls of porridge on the table.She was so hungry that she didn’t think much before picking up a spoon and eating.

She first tasted the large bowl of congee, which turned out to be so hot that it almost burned her tongue red.
Then she tried the middle bowl, and again found it too cold to be good.
Finally she tried the smallest bowl, and it was just right, not too cold and not too hot, and it tasted pretty good!She drank the whole bowl of porridge in one gulp.

After eating, she felt a bit tired, so she wanted to find a place to rest.There were three chairs in the living room, she sat on the biggest one first, and found it too hard; she changed to a softer one, and it was too soft; finally she sat on the smallest one, and found it very comfortable.But she didn’t realize that as soon as she sat down, the chair broke with a click!

She had to go on upstairs to find a bed to sleep on.There are three beds in the bedroom, she first tried the big two, are not suitable, and finally chose the smallest one.This bed is particularly comfortable, she lay on it not long before she fell asleep.

The bears came back!

The three bears came home just in time from their walk.As soon as they entered the house, they realized something was wrong:

Papa Bear realized that his porridge had been drunk;
Mama Bear also found her porridge had been moved;
Baby Bear was the saddest, his bowl of porridge had been drunk.

They went back to the living room and found that the chairs had also been moved.Papa Bear’s and Mama Bear’s chairs had only been moved, but Baby Bear’s chair had been turned into a pile of broken wood.

Papa Bear was alert and said, “Be careful, there might be someone upstairs!”
So they quietly went upstairs, into the bedroom to see, really there is a little girl is lying in the baby bear’s bed whirring sleep!

The three bears shouted together, “Who are you?”

The cry scared the blonde girl, and she snapped her eyes open and was terrified to see the three bears standing beside the bed.Without even bothering to put on her clothes, she jumped out the window, fell into the bushes, and then ran desperately back home.

What happened after that?

The three bears looked at the messy house, and Mama Bear said heartily, “You must remember to lock the door when you go out from now on.”
Papa Bear nodded and promised.
Baby Bear looked at mom and dad pitifully and said, “Can you share a mouthful of porridge with me?I’m starving.”

Everyone then remembered that they hadn’t eaten yet.So they shared the remaining two bowls of porridge.

As for the blonde girl?She became exceptionally well-behaved afterward, and never dared to break into anyone’s house again.

The truth behind the story.

This story looks like a light-hearted and interesting fairy tale, but it actually reflects many common problems in real life.For example:

Entering other people’s homes without permission;
Using other people’s belongings at will;
Neglecting other people’s feelings because it’s convenient for the moment.

The blonde girl wasn’t a bad person, she just didn’t realize the consequences of her actions.She thought she could just do whatever she wanted as long as no one was watching.But the truth is, every little thing affects someone else.

Why are the three bears angry?Because the breakfast they had prepared was disrupted, their hut was disturbed, especially Baby Bear, whose chair was broken and who didn’t even get his porridge.This feeling of being violated would be uncomfortable for anyone.

What does this story tell us?

1.Respecting others is respecting yourself.
Whether at home or outside, we should learn to respect other people’s belongings and space.Even small children should grow up knowing manners and a sense of boundaries.

2.Do things with consequences in mind.
The blonde girl was only thinking that she was hungry and tired, so she did those things, but she didn’t think that she would bring trouble to others.Before we make any decision, we have to think about whether it will hurt others.

3.Don’t touch other people’s things without permission.
This is the most basic rule.Even a bottle of water, a chair, or a house belongs to someone else.We need to learn to ask permission instead of taking liberties.

4.Everyone has their own living space.
We need to learn to protect our privacy while respecting the privacy of others.Just because someone is not at home doesn’t mean we can just come and go as we please.

5.It’s not scary to make mistakes, what’s important is to learn to correct them.
Although the blonde girl did something wrong at first, she later realized the problem and has since changed her bad habits.This shows that to know your mistakes and be able to correct them is growth.

Summarize.

The story “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” may be short, but it teaches us something more than simple.It tells us in a vivid and interesting way that in life, we have to learn to respect others, follow the rules and consider others’ feelings.Only in this way can we become a popular and trustworthy person.

So, dear children, remember one sentence:

“If you are not sure whether something should be done or not, then ask the master first and get an opinion.”

I hope you will all be good children who know what they are doing and follow the rules, just like the blonde girl later on!
