My Frustrating Day Facing Count Ymir
So I booted up the game last Tuesday after getting stomped by this shadowy dude Count Ymir in PvP three matches straight. Dude kept melting my health bar like butter in a microwave. Thought maybe I was lagging or something.
First thing I did was hop into practice mode, picked Ymir myself just to see what buttons do what. Smashed his basic attack combo on training dummies – each hit leaves these nasty purple burn marks stacking up. Counted exactly 6 stacks before explosion happens. Then I tried holding the right trigger for his void beam attack. Big mistake. Fella just stood there charging like a dang iPhone for three seconds while some rando NPC slapped me silly.
Got mad curious about his weaknesses though. Remembered that one match where some kid playing a fire mage absolutely cooked him. Went back to replay footage and noticed every time purple explosions happened near water puddles in the arena, Ymir twitched and took bonus damage. Tested it myself next round – baited him near a fountain area and boom! 30% extra damage popped up on screen. Nearly spit out my energy drink.
But here’s the kicker nobody tells you: his fancy teleport move has cooldown loopholes. Camped near his spawn point with a stopwatch app running. Turns out after blinking twice within 8 seconds, the man’s stuck waddling around like a duck for another 12 seconds. Twelve! Felt so good trapping his slow butt in poison traps during that window.
