Today I’m going to tell three short stories, all about what happens to cute little animals. Each story has a different protagonist and a different truth, so let’s hear them together!
The first story: Joy the monkey and the matches.
Lele is a lively and cute little monkey who usually loves to go to his grandmother’s house to play. One night, he was watching TV at his grandma’s house, when suddenly the light went out with a pop, and the whole house went dark.
Grandma hurriedly took out a candle and got a box of matches from the drawer. She struck the match, a small flame jumped out, and then lit the candle. The house was bright again.
Lele looked at the matches in her grandmother’s hand and thought they were especially magical: “Wow, this match is so powerful! One stroke and there’s fire!”He thought in his heart that he would like to try it himself.
After a while, the electricity came and the light came on again.Grandma blew out the candle, put the matches back on the table, and went to the kitchen to do something else.
Lele saw the matchbox on the table and happily picked it up, pulled out a match and struck it just like his grandmother did – “poof,” and the fire was really lit!He held up the match and jumped around the house, very happy.
When Grandma came back, she saw him playing with matches and was shocked. She rushed over to him and said, “Oh, Lele, how can you play with matches? It’s very dangerous!”
When Lele heard that, he was a bit scared and stopped and asked, “Why?Isn’t this a small fire?”
Grandma squatted down and said patiently, “Even though the fire looks small, if you accidentally touch something like tissue paper or curtains, which are easy to burn, it will turn into a big fire, and that will be troublesome.”
Hearing this, Lele immediately handed back the matches in his hand to his grandmother and said seriously, “Grandma, I will never play with fire again.”
Grandma touched his head and said with a smile, “That’s right, safety is the most important thing, we should pay attention to fire prevention.”
So children, do you understand?Matches are fun, but they are actually very dangerous. At home, we have to stay away from lighters and matches. We can’t just play with them, or we could have a big problem.
The second story: The clever little piggy.
One day it was very windy, and the rabbit’s mother had just finished washing the clothes to hang them out to dry, when a gust of wind blew the clothes away, and they were everywhere.
When the little animals saw it, they all ran to help pick up the clothes. They all worked together and soon got most of the clothes back. However, there was one piece of clothing hanging high up in the treetops, which could not be reached.
The White Rabbit tried first, but he could not reach it even if he stood on his tiptoes, and he could not reach it even if he jumped up.The horse was much taller than the white rabbit, so he also tried to jump, but the result was still a little short.
Finally, we had to invite the giraffe, who was the tallest animal in the forest. But even though the giraffe stretched his neck, he was still a little bit short.
When everyone was worried, the little flower pig came over and said with a smile, “Don’t worry, I have an idea!”
Just saw him run to the neighborhood to find a long bamboo pole, gently to the top of the tree, the clothes fell off. When everyone saw it, they all applauded happily: “Wonderful!”
Another time, the little goat in the grass to play, accidentally put the new clothes scratched a mouth. He was so distressed that he hurried to find a needle and thread to mend it.
But the little goat was not very good at sewing, and the stitching came out crooked and hard to see.He went to the white rabbit for help. The white rabbit sewed much better than he did, but he could still see the seam.
The little goat sighed and said, “Alas, it still doesn’t look good.”
That’s when the little flower pig showed up again and said, “That’s okay, let me think of something.”After he said that, he ran outside and picked a pretty wildflower and pinned it to the stitch.
Wow!The seam was completely invisible, and the dress became even more beautiful because of the little flower.
The friends all said, “Little Flower Pig is so smart, always thinking of good ideas.”
Little Flower Pig, however, shook his head and said, “In fact, I’m not the smartest, just when things come up I’ll use my brain and think of ways to solve it.”
So, don’t be afraid of difficulties, as long as you are willing to use your brain, you can always find a solution.
The third story: the pig who loved to study.
One morning, when the sun had just risen, a little piggy woke up.He rubbed his eyes, looked out of the window, and muttered, “The sun is out so early today, I haven’t slept enough! But the weather is so nice, why don’t we go out and learn some new skills today!”
So Piglet put on his clothes, walked out of the house and into the forest.
As he walked, he heard a beautiful song, and it turned out to be the lark singing. The little pig loved to hear it, so he asked the lark to teach him to sing.
The lark said, “Yes, but singing is not something you can learn in a day or two, you have to practice every day and have patience.”
The little pig nodded and said, “No problem, I’m not afraid of hard work, I’m sure I can learn!”
At first it was quite serious, but it didn’t take long before it got bored and didn’t want to practice anymore. So it said goodbye to the lark and continued on its way.
Not long after, it heard the sound of “ping pong ping” from the front, and when it came closer, it turned out to be a little monkey practicing kung fu.
The little pig thought it was so cool that he ran over to the monkey to learn from him.The monkey said, “It’s very tiring to practice martial arts, and you will get hurt, can you hold on?”
The little pig patted his chest and said, “Of course I can!”
But only after practicing for a while, it was accidentally hit by a stick and screamed in pain.Piggy immediately backed off, said goodbye to the little monkey, and left again.
Later, it met the little fish, let the little fish to teach it to swim; see the kitten, and let the kitten to teach it to catch butterflies …… so all the way to go all the way to learn, but each only learn a moment and then give up.
The sun went down, the pig sat on the side of the road to rest, thinking: “Today I learned a lot of things, how seems to have learned nothing?”
Yes, Piggy did learn a lot of things today, but he didn’t stick with any of them to the end, and the result was that he didn’t really master anything.
So children, this story tells us a truth: do things with patience, not three-minute fever.Only if you stick to it can you really learn the skills.
These three little stories are simple, but they all harbor no small truth. The first story lets us know that it is very dangerous to play with fire and we must pay attention to safety; the second story tells us that we should use our brains to think of a way out when we meet difficulties; and the third story reminds us that we should insist on doing things and not give up halfway.
I hope you like these stories and that you can learn something useful from them.
Good night and sweet dreams!
