Have you noticed that you’ve been feeling a little under the weather lately?Have you noticed that you’ve been feeling a little under the weather lately, such as back pain, emotional ups and downs, or feeling tired all the time?In fact, these small problems may be related to the lack of balance between yin and yang.As an astrologer, I often see my clients suffer from physical and emotional imbalance due to the fast pace of life and stress.Today I would like to share with you a very simple way to help you find your natural rhythm of yin and yang in just a few minutes a day.

I tried it wrong at first.

To be honest, I too thought at first that the balance of yin and yang was something mysterious and complicated.I went through a lot of ancient sources and tried some meditation poses.Like waking up at 5am, sitting on the floor and meditating with my eyes closed, thinking I was “channeling energy”.The result?My feet were numb, my cat was biting my pillow, and the whole process lasted only seven minutes.That’s when I realized that many so-called “advanced methods” are not suitable for modern people.

The methods that really work are actually quite simple.

Later, at a community event, I met a teacher who had practiced Tai Chi for many years.He was dressed in ordinary clothes and was very direct in his speech.He told me, “Don’t think so much about cosmic energy, start with your breath.”These words woke me up.He taught me two particularly simple movements that make it easy for me to practice the Yin and Yang transitions every morning.

  • Yin Mode: stand barefoot on the ground and inhale slowly through your nose to the count of five.Visualize a cool blue stream of air entering your body and filling your stomach.
  • Yang Mode: gently clench your fists and exhale gently through your mouth as if you were huffing into a mirror.Visualize a warm current flowing from your chest to your fingertips.

These two movements don’t require any complicated postures or lighting incense or reciting mantras, just pay attention to your breathing and slowly bring your body back into balance.

How do I practice now?

I now do this practice every morning along with making my coffee:

1.stand by the kitchen window and look out at the sunlight;
2.take five yin breaths and feel the cool air enter your body.3;
3.Take five yang breaths and feel your body slowly warming up.4;
4.Finally, rub your hands together and put them on your eyes to relax your eyes and brain.

The whole process took less than three minutes, but it made my day much better.After two weeks, I found that my spirit was more stable than before, and when I was stuck in a traffic jam or under pressure at work, I could face it more calmly.My wife laughed at me at first, but then she tried it a few times on her own and started to follow suit every morning as well.

The most important thing is not mystery, but persistence.

In fact, the balance between yin and yang is not a mysterious theory.It is in our breath and in our physical sensations.We don’t need to become a “guru”, we just need to spend a few minutes every day to pay attention to our own body, and we can slowly find that natural rhythm.

So if you’re feeling unwell lately, or if you’re prone to mood swings, you might want to try this simple method.The balance between yin and yang can actually start with a single breath.
