It is a story of kindness, perseverance and forgiveness, which teaches us that true love does not depend on appearances, but stems from the sincerity of the heart. Let’s enter this marvelous world and experience the moving journey between Belle and the Prince!
Chapter 1: The Encounter between Belle and the Prince
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a beautiful and kind girl named Belle. She was gentle and considerate, and was loved by everyone around her. One day, a handsome young man appeared in her life, a prince, but he never told Belle his true identity. The two are soon attracted to each other and spend many wonderful hours together.
However, the happy days didn’t last long. One day, the prince suddenly disappeared, never to be seen again. Belle felt both worried and lost, but had no idea what had happened. In fact, the prince had suffered a terrible curse.
It turned out that a proud princess had fallen in love with the prince, but the prince had rejected her. Overcome with anger, the princess found an evil witch and asked her to cast a spell to get back at the prince. So the witch turned the prince and his entire palace into lions, and made them only remain as lions during the day and return to their human form at night.
The prince watched himself turn into a mighty lion and despair filled his heart. He felt he could never face Belle again and chose to disappear from her sight completely.

Chapter 2: The Merchant’s Rose
Belle’s father was a merchant, and one day, he passed by a mysterious royal palace on his journey. The garden of this royal palace was very special, half of it was a snowy winter scene, while the other half was a beautiful spring scene with hundreds of flowers blooming. The merchant was amazed by this strange landscape.
What made him even happier was that there was a large, bright and colorful rose in the midst of those hundred flowers! “My little daughter Belle loves roses the most,” thought the merchant, ”and now that it’s the middle of winter, you can’t find such beautiful roses anywhere. If I pick one and give it to her, she will be so happy!” So he reached out and picked a rose.
Just then, a deafening lion’s roar broke the silence. The merchant was trembling with fear and turned his head to see a huge lion coming toward him. “How dare you pick my favorite person’s roses? I want you to pay!” The lion roared.
This lion was none other than the enchanted prince, who mistakenly thought that the merchant had offended him on purpose because the roses were planted by him to hold his thoughts of Belle. He hoped that even if he could not see Belle, he could still express his feelings through these roses.
The merchant quickly explained, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know that these were roses belonging to your favorite person! I just wanted to pick one to give to my daughter because she also likes roses very much. Please spare my life!”
The lion was silent for a while and said, “Since this was picked for your daughter, let her come to see me in person and take your punishment instead!”
“Absolutely not! She is the apple of my eye, I will never let her get into danger.” The merchant firmly refused.
The lion replied coldly, “Then give me the first thing you come across on your way home as compensation!”
The merchant was apprehensive, for he knew that it was always Belle who greeted him every time he returned home. Nonetheless, with the persuasion of his servant, he reluctantly agreed.
Chapter 3: Belle’s Brave Decision
On his way home, the merchant kept praying that Belle would not be the first to greet him. However, when he had just reached the front door of his house, he saw Belle standing there waiting for him. The merchant panicked and turned to leave, but Belle had already darted over to him.
“Daddy, why are you running when you see me? What the hell happened?” Belle asked with concern.
The merchant had no choice but to tell Belle what had happened, and emphasized that he wouldn’t let her risk her life no matter what.
Belle fell into deep thought after hearing this. She realized that if she didn’t go, her whole family might suffer an even greater disaster. Also, she wanted to get to the bottom of what happened and perhaps convince the lion to spare her father. However, she knew that her father would not agree with her plan, so she just smiled and reassured him, “Don’t worry, I’ll figure it out.”
Early the next morning, Belle left a letter behind and set off alone on her journey to the palace.
Chapter 4: The Secret of the Royal Palace
When Belle walked into the royal palace, she was surprised to find that it was filled with lions. She then realized that there wasn’t just one lion here, but a whole pride of lions! Just as she was getting nervous, one of the lions signaled the other lions to back off so as not to scare her.
All of the lions then disappeared, and Belle forced her fear to continue exploring the magnificent palace. Despite the opulence of the palace, not a single human being could be seen. Strangely enough, whenever she felt tired or hungry, fruits, pastries and even a sumptuous lunch always appeared at the right time.
Toward evening, Belle walked into the dining room and saw many servants lined up to welcome her, and the table was filled with delicious food. A butler-like man guided her to sit down and eat.
Belle couldn’t help but ask, “So there are people here, why don’t I see you guys during the day?”
The servants just laughed and didn’t answer.
Belle asked again, “There are so many lions here, aren’t you all afraid?”
The servants still kept smiling and did not answer.
Finally, Belle asked the most crucial question, “I have come to apologize to a lion because my father picked his roses. May I ask where he is?”
At that moment, a figure appeared outside the window. Belle fixed her eyes on the long-lost prince! It turned out that he was a lion during the day and reverted to his human form at night.
The prince told Belle everything, including why he disappeared and the strange phenomena in the palace. Belle was touched by what she heard and told the prince firmly, “It’s your kindness that I like, not your appearance. No matter what you become, I will never change my feelings for you.”
The two decided to get married and lived happily ever after in the royal palace.
Chapter 5: Revenge of the Evil Dragon
However, the story didn’t end there. That jealous princess was furious when she learned of the prince’s marriage. As she had asked the witch to cast a spell, she had now turned into an evil dragon and was forced to do the witch’s bidding.
Seven years later, the prince is finally freed from the spell of the wandering dove and is restored to his lion form. But the evil dragon is unwilling to relinquish her control, and she captures the prince in an attempt to make him forget Belle and be with himself.
Meanwhile, Belle is anxiously searching for the prince. She has been following White Feather’s trail for seven whole years, but at this moment she has lost the trail. Just when she was helpless, the Wind God appeared and told her, “Your prince has been captured by the evil dragon, and they are fighting in the Red Sea!”
The God of Wind gives Belle a magic wand, and the Gods of the Sun and the Moon, touched by her persistence, endow the wand with even greater power.
Belle rushed to the Red Sea with the magic wand and saw the lion fighting with the dragon. The lion was already exhausted and was about to be controlled by the dragon. Without hesitation, Belle threw her magic wand and hit the dragon.
With a dazzling flash of light, the spell was lifted, the lion was transformed back into a prince, and the dragon was restored to a princess.
Belle said to the princess, “You have hatred out of love, and in order to take revenge on the prince you don’t hesitate to become the evil dragon and be subjected to the witch. Is such a life really worth it?”
The princess came to a realization and left silently.
Chapter 6: The Happy Ending
The prince and Belle were finally reunited and they returned to the palace to start a new life. Their love was tested and became even deeper.
